BRITTON, Jesse - Putnam

Funeral services for Jesse Britton, 78, well known local resident, were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon. Rev. T. J. Wilson, pastor of the church had charge. Burial was made in the North Salem cemetery. Mr. Britton had been ill but a short time. Death was attributed to the infirmities of advanced age. He was born near Russellville on November 5, 1861, the son of John and Patricia Sutherlin Britton. He was married in 1890 to Lillie Manners who died in 1928.
